Mary Bell's Story
Well let's see if I can get this all in here. After graduation ('58) I went to TWU for a short time. After that I went into the Air Force. That's where I met my first husband. I left the Air Force when I was pregnant with my daughter. Then we went a lot of places in the next 17 years. We went to France, England, South Dakota, Guam, and then to Bossier City, LA where I went to work for the Corps of Engineers where I retired after 30 years. Then I ...Expand for more
came back to Texas where I belong. I have 2 daughters, 4 granddaughters and 1 great-grandson (finally a boy). Now I'm very busy with the American Legion and VFW. I'm the Adjutant at the American Legion in Lake Dallas, TX and the Chaplain and Trustee in the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW in Lake Dallas.. So I keep pretty busy. That's it for now until I start to drool and my daughters put me in a home. Right now I live on my own and I'm enjoying life.
